What could £25,000 do for your community?
The national winners of Britain Has Spirit’s Community Initiative of the Year and Community Hero of the Year prizes will be awarded an amazing £25,000 each, to put towards a local cause in their community. This could help maintain a village green, build a new playground or keep a community project for the elderly up and running for another year.
"The public have a very important job to do. Britain has some incredible volunteer groups and standout individuals, all of whom, worthy winners. However there can only be one winner per category per region – so it’s incredibly important you vote for your favourite and get them one step further to the national prize of £25,000. Think of the difference £25,000 could make to a small or modest community project!"
